A awareness training on library use was given to automotive trainers at Tegbared Polytechnic College in Addis Ababa.
It was stated that this training was aimed at enabling the existing and newly assigned automotive trainers who participated to use library services properly, easily find the books and documents they need, and correctly use the information that is useful for the trainees.
The main objective of the training is to enable the trainers to transfer the knowledge they have learned to their trainees and to increase the information literacy and reading culture in the college, said Ato Yousuf Abdelhamid, Head of the Automotive Training Sector.
Accordingly, it is said that it will increase the students’ book search skills and research skills.
