The message conveyed by the Dean of the College, Ato Tesfaye Admasu, during his opening speech, was that a student should be a student who is developed in skills, attitudes, and discipline through democratic elections.
Furthermore, in connection with the start of the selection process for the new President by the College Student Council, the former Student Council President, Ms. Hana Yechalesew, briefed the students on the service programs conducted by the Student President Council at the center over the years, the student qualifications they have contributed, and the changes made in student benefits, especially the improvement of the level of educational services, student support programs, and the promotion of equality and participation in the college, and explained the problems encountered and the solutions adopted.
Then, Ato Haymanot Abu, the College’s Vocational Guidance and Counseling Coordinator, presented a document about the selection process and rules and regulations.
Finally, Ato Dareh Getachew, the College’s Deputy Dean for Training and Academic Affairs, stated that it is possible to select those who represent me and carry out my work fairly, and the program was completed by selecting 9 trainee representatives and giving them further direction.
